Fire & Rescue

The Yavapai County Fire Consortium is a collaborative network of fire districts dedicated to protecting lives, property, and the natural environment across Yavapai County, Arizona. Our fire stations are staffed 24/7 ready to respond to any and all emergencies. Comprising multiple fire districts the Consortium delivers comprehensive fire and rescue services to urban, rural, and wildland areas.
The Consortium provides robust fire suppression services utilizing multiple different types of Firefighting apparatus (fire trucks), addressing structural fires and wildland fires out of eight fire stations located within the communities we serve. Firefighters are trained in advanced firefighting techniques, with many holding certifications in wildland firefighting to combat the region’s frequent wildfires.
The Consortium emphasizes prevention through community education, defensible space programs, and fuels reduction projects which mitigate wildfire risks by reducing hazardous vegetation.
